Taglines are an important consideration when starting an online business. One I recognize the most is Woolies “We are the fresh food people” ….Hmmm well no comment.

Hi Jackie

if you are not sure that you want to stay in that niche it’s still a good training to create a tagline. Either you leave that page then as it is and start a new one for your next niche, or you change the tagline in case the main content of your site changes.

Agree with you there Renee. It’s something that people should give some thought into. I mean almost every corporate business you can think of has a tag line and with good reason as it works.

This is something I have being thinking of for a while. I’m a little worried about creating a tagline for the niche I am promoting at the moment, as I’m not sure this is what I want to keep promoting.
Creating a tagline which represents who you are has to be thought about carefully as you don’t want to keep changing it or people will start to wonder what you trying to promote.

mmmm something to think about.

A tagline is like a good headline. It can catch attention and needs to tell people what to expect on the site. I guess it’s good to put some work in that …

I like the tagline that came with my YOTB blog, “Building Multiple Streams of Online Income” I like it a lot. I have the tagline however need to tailor the blog to suit the tagline.

I’m sure it will come about with time.

Hi Sean,

I still don’t have a tagline for my online business. It’s one of those things that I thought about months ago and forgot about because I didn’t come up with anything I liked.

I agree that it’s an excellent way of branding yourself. I just want to make sure before I brand myself; that I’m choosing the right tagline. I am still to get clear about what I offer that is uniquely different to my competitors.
